Been doing some more work the last couple of nights, should be re-fitting the gearbox tomorrow if we can get a thrust bearing, and also been taking off the decals that were on it...Two evenings work to clear one side

Id say you had some job getting them decals off!! have you much more left to do on it?

the back doors and the otherside!! It's such a bore but needs to be done..Getting some mean blisters on my thumbs!

I used a hot air paint gun to heat up the stickers on my van.Just heat them up and they peel off really easy.

Yeh that's what I've. Got and a fibreglass spreader does the job of getting them off

Spent a hungover Saturday morning visiting salvage yards and found a Turbo down pipe

Engine is in!! ran out of light today so we will put the exhaust manifold on and wiring tomorrow, then hopefully Thursday try to fire her up!!!

Tight fitting around the turbo...Just need to source the pipes for it now

It's matching up alrite so far only done the front side, we might have to modify cable lengths because of the sensor positions with the turbo. Will let you know when we do it

Got it running Today!!! No rad or intercooler on it yet just gave it a test and fired up first time no cranking over! properlly chuffed sounded good aswell, just need to sort the rest of the exhaust (anyone know of decent ones and resonable prices? an just be a decent back box) and then the ever lasting search for the turbo hoses!
