Tried to get the wiper arms off the other day and gave up !
Picked up a puller from Screwfix (£9.99) and bingo ! Off they pop.

Now I can see the brackets (2) that have to be replicated to mount the twin opposed wipers from a Touran.

Fun 😊

Where the inner one has to fit ...
Goes around the rubber bush that replaces the blanking grommet ?!

What year is your van @petrev? If you don’t already have the 4 brackets across the scuttle you’ll need to do a fair bit of fabrication. I’m literally in the middle of doing it on my 2013 van. I believe the 4 tabs are only on pre 2008 vans

Todays 5min job that took 6 hours to complete:

Rear torsion bar bushings. First two bolts snapped within the first 5 minutes. Last two came loose with some rust penetrating spray and a lot of heat.

Spent a long time trying to weld on some nuts to the broken bolts. When that failed I used a bolt extraction together with some heat. Ended up making the situation worse and snapped the extraction tool inside one of the bolts. Went back to welding and managed get them loose in the end.

Got round to fitting touran front carpets and centre console. Even had some spare screws left over at the end... luckily remembered they came as spares with the console after a brief panic

I have bought the TDI engine cover that the engine should have come with, really neatens up an otherwise scruffy looking engine bay

Just to add to that, I’ve just bought some wheels & tyres too 🤣😂 I only get the van on Saturday
Need a lowering kit next, looking at eibach sportlines or pro, not sure about -45mm or -60mm

Played cable ferret, I now have working tweeters. Turns out a bike internal cable routing kit is really handy for shoving them through
