Another small thing i done to tidy things up was repaint my rear window grills so they won't show through the tints so easily in direct sunlight...

Is that the stuff u have 2 heat-up to apply or does it just stick?

You mean the flashing band i used for sound deadening? No heat needed mate, just peel off the backing and stick it down :)

No mate i don't have the right steering wheel for the DSG paddles, i think its an R32/Gti/GT one i need.

Not really fussed though as its left in auto mode 90% of the time :)

The winter really spunked up my wheel lips and the lacquer starting lifting, as they love to on diamond cut surfaces! :roll:

So i had a couple of hours free this afternoon to polish up a couple of wheel lips :D

Lacquer wet flatted back down to bare metal, working my way from P800 to P2000.

Polished up to a mirror finish. :)

And re-fitted. Was well chuffed for such a quick tickle and cost me nothing! :P
