Cheers mate.

Yeah I always have Carista with me, I can’t stand having any warning lights or issues and need to know what the issue is so I can fix them straight away.

This exact thing happened to my Mk7 Golf just last week. Christmas tree on the dash, lost ABS, ESC, TPMS, ACC, and autohold. I had no idea what was going on and I don't have any diagnostics for the Golf (I have VCDS but just one VIN for the Caddy). I took it to my mechanic and he diagnosed rear right ABS sensor, changed it for a new one and it came to €233. It's interesting to hear how straightforward of a job it is now.

Thanks very much both.

As frustrating as it can be getting chips etc from use, the fun factor is always worth it.

Actually done something on the van today…. My mate is trading his stage 3 Golf in, so it was a day of removing all the fancy parts from his engine bay. This meant I got a nice LOBA high pressure fuel pump for my efforts. 🤌Image

Whoaa what a build! Have been reading your build thread last couple of days as inspiration to hopefully start my own caddy journey. Incredible to see how far you have come, your dedication and craftsmanship are something to be admired!

Thanks a lot, it’s much appreciated. It’s certainly kept me busy and gave me focus over the past few years, things have slowed recently but I’ve still got a few things I’m wanting to do when time permits.

That time of year again…. Another clean MOT issued with zero advisory’s (the load of seagull crap down the side was mentioned though).
The emissions needed 2nd fast idle test, but I’m putting that down to the cat not initially being up to temp.

The seagulls have to crap somewhere 🤣
It's nice to know you don't have any advisories after the MOT it seems to give you satisfaction that we're doing something right

They do, but I wish they would do it elsewhere.
Yeah that’s it, it’s a standard I always try to maintain. It gives satisfaction when looking at its history that it’s never had a single advisory whilst in my ownership.

Thanks a lot mate, much appreciated.

It’s still here, slightly neglected but still performing its duties.
With not showing it at all this year the paint has had a well needed break from being polished, and I’ve only actually waxed it once in 12 months now.
