Pretty please to have got these Golf GTi MK6 brake upgrade parts for $200.00 today. Carriers, callipers, 312mm rotors and pads with about 70% still left on them.



Will be fitting them Wednesday.

Bollocks.

They are both for the LHS. Not sure how I didn't notice that when I picked them up.

Spoke with the seller who says he had bought them from a wreckers. He has the receipt so hopefully I can get one side swapped over for the RHS. Failing that I'll be hitting him up for a refund.

Not a big problem at the end of the day. PITA having to do all the required running about though.

Look great, how do they feel

Hard to tell. Is been very wet here the last few days and the pads will need to bed in a bit before I put them to the test so to speak.

One of the reasons I did this was because my 155k km service was due and I figured my front rotors needed changing. As it turns out I had a 4mm lip on them so they are goosed.

So all in all I've come out with a nice brake upgrade for less than the price of replacing the rotors alone.

Interestingly when using Tapatalk your swear word is still there, but not when using Chrome.
