Passat w8 light fitted.
Wire for the red ambient lighting ran down to the light switch (grey/blue) wire so they only come on with the headlights.
Massive improvement over the caddy interior light

Thought I'd try something different with my DIY grill light, I'm just not happy with the brightness now when the suns out. Iv tried countless different strips and types of LEDs but nothing has been as bright as the OEM LEDs you see on the road.
So bit the bullet and brought an ali express special Mk8 GTi grill and it's surprisingly easy to get the led strip out and modify the caddy grill to accommodate it!
Bit of messing about still, trying to fix it in securely but super happy with how it's looking so far!
One little bit of damage where I cut too much out but thats fixable
