Comin along!

How'd you find the sunnies holder fits? Mines not perfect, good idea though.

I'll give you a bell in the morning dude.

Cheers man........

The sunny holder is a snug fit so it doesn't snap back on the spring like it's designed to......was same deal on other cars I've fitted them to (if not designed to have one).

SimonB.......sorry I can't PM you as my privileges aren't upgraded yet.......the VRS light was from a 2006'er.....I broke two of these cars for parts late last year....I still have the black handles, black visors, headliner, centre roof cubby, headliner..........
Let me know if the handles are of use, or anything else for that matter?

Yep, can you let me know a price posted for the black handles please? (Presume the visors are gonna be too small / not right shape for Caddy!)

More jobs completed including a half day of twotting about fitting new front end on.
Looked easy until the realisation that previous repair to old front end was so bad we had to go back to basics and realign front flitches and leg ends.
Once done the new wings, front panel and bonnet went on well and gapped up really nice.

Have a few gremlins to sort now....
Airbag module wont reset and hence dash light is on....need new module.
Throttle pedal has a fault with half of internal sensor...need to eliminate pedal or wiring issue

Find rear brakes metal to metal :/

On a plus note.....got headlight surrounds stripped, primed and painted black :)

Prepping them.........I started to Scotch-Brite the mirror finish on one of them, and then was cleaning the dust off with a rag doused in cellulose thinners, when I noticed the mirroring just wiping off completely..........
So I wiped over the rest of it and bob's your uncle, it's alot less hassle than keying it all.
You just have to be careful not to soak the plastic too much as it does soften the surface of it.
The ribbing shape around the main and dip beam are a pain but with patience you can get it 80% off.
It doesn't need to be perfect, and you can abrade it all finally before painting anyway.
Left them for 15 mins to allow the thinners to dry off, then hit it with plastic primer (grey).
A quick light coat, then left 5 mins to flash-off, and then a good coat all over.
After an hour, I top-coated them with satin black paint - working from the back into the openings for a quick first hit, the ensure the ridges all got painted, and then after a couple of minutes, painted the front sides.

I've swapped to the obligatory Diadem indicator bulbs just to funk-up the look (hardly new idea, but still cool imho).

Now just got to mastic the lenses back on, and we're done.......

Towbar not as much of a problem as first thought........jacking the van up to take weight off the axle/springs gives enough clearance to fit towbar up to rear chassis legs.

Well the MOT was done today and I was a little nervous but it passed with flying colours and no advisories!

I was careful not to attach the tow ball as the electrics aren't fitted yet, so they ignore the towbar and don't test it.

Drove pretty nicely to be honest and pulls adequately through the gears.
