They feel loads nicer than the old caddy 'park bench' seats. You can actually get them lower down and a bit further back too (with the bulk head) giving a much nicer driving position. For £80 i'm very pleased with them

Just back from a 500 ish mile round trip to wales then to somerset and back to cambridge.

LOVE the van! The new suspension / wheels / tyres work perfectly together and have completely transformed the ride. Any worries I had about it being too firm were completely needless as its actually miles and MILES more comfortable than the OEM stuff.

The Kuhmo KU39 tyres are quieter at motorway cruise speed and grip tons better than the firestone van tires I previously had fitted. Coming out of roundabouts in 3rd (with a remap and in the wet) and there is now zero wheelspin and thus zero interference from the traction control. After the remap and with the standard tyres its span all over the place in anything up to 3rd even in the wet.

The suspension is firm but not crashy and the van now doesnt rock back and forth with braking like it did on the old 'stilts'. It just feels like a car to drive now.

The wheels look awesome IMO and the wheel / tyre width (8.5 wide and 235 tyres) dont cause any tram lining at all.

The rolling radius of the wheels is actually slightly more than before and this has made it cruise at 85mph ish much nicer than before. The van doesnt seem to be working as hard... although maybe this is physiological with the reduction in noise from the tyres and the fact its remapped so has a bit more grunt now?

The only downside seems to be that my MPG has been shocking ont he last tank. Now on 325 miles and it says its almost 3/4 gone!! Bear in mind i had already done 4 - 5 tanks since remapping but on the standard wheels / suspension and if anything saw a slight increase in MPG so not sure why I'm suddenly getting loads less....although perhaps now I have cruise and the fact I was doing 85-90 a lot of the way (because it felt easier and more comfortable and quieter) has something to do with it?? Although I often did those speeds on the motorway before and still returned 500 to a tank. So a bit puzzled there.

The wheels are a bit heavier and bigger rolling radius and I now have cruise... those are the only things I can think of that would have affected the mpg so much?

The GTI mk5 steering wheel is a nice thing to hold as well now and like I said everything has come together to make it feel much more like a car than a van.

This HID kit (got it on my car and its been faultless for over a year now) H7R bulbs have the band around the base to avoid glare and have the canbus chip built in. Going for the 5000k colour as i have 6000k on my car and they are a bit blue. 5000k should give a nice crisp white light

Also fitting these in the little slots in the front bumper.. might need to file the hole out a fraction but otherwise should fit perfectly. Dead easy to wire up according to the manual as it just connects to the battery and auto senses when the car is running

quickly test wired up the DRLs tonight. I have no idea how this little box of tricks works as it just connects to the battery and not to an ignition wire but it auto turns on when the engine is started and then off a few seconds after it stops.

They fit perfectly in the OEM holes on the bumper.

Little video.. one side looks brighter as its filmed from an angle and they do look a tad dimmer from the side but not as much as it shows on the vid.

HID bulbs fitted this afternoon. Modified the twist in OEM bulb holders to take the HID bulb which has the wire fixed through the back.

Video of the lights firing up although hard to see as its dark but they are the same as the LED DRL lights now

Kit used. 5000k bulbs. Fitted philips sidlight bulbs which are whiter too and new main beam bulbs
