I've had 2 MOTs with no washers and nothing has been said. I'm going to have washers retrofitted though as not a difficult or expensive job, well if you can find a Touran bumper to harvest the plastic guides that bond to the back!

Think I put a 10amp fuse in, it's been fine, but I think I'll change it just to be sure :D

Hopefully won't have any MOT bother but you never know, will probable end up doing the same Dan, are you going to be bringing that monster van up north to any shows? Wouldn't mind a good look round that beast.

Surely you can't fail if they aren't fitted?
The mot regs don't say they are required just they must work if fitted.

That's interesting. I thought I read you needed them if you had xenon lights fitted but there was a grey area in regards retrofitted systems. And yes I'm really hoping that once the caddy is finished I'll be actually driving it to shows and meets all over the place.

Thanks a lot mate, mirrors came off a facelift Touran, the bases needed to be plastic welded due to them being smaller than the caddy ones, then filled and primed and re textured, Adam87 off here is your man for the mirrors mate, and if you don't know anyone who can plastic weld, bean5 of here is Your man for that mate, seen some of his work, it's spot on. Can't think the last time I found a cheap mod for the caddy
