I'm having a fight with this on a LHD car...
The brake servo is where I think your grommet is through the bulkhead.... looking for another option to get a heavy cable through for a split charge set up...

On the LHD it is very much more complex but not impossible.
You are best to work your way in from the cabin side, the grommet is there but somewhat smaller.
It's below the brake booster and right up against the inner wheel arch.
You will need to strip out the battery and airbox, get a good look at it and I'm sure you'll work it out.

Update: LHD Caddi Maxi Life with teh full length rear trim which is going back in.
Doc, thanks for your info. LHD is a challenge.
Managed to find a way through using a grommet which is behind the scuttle on the RH side... a similar place to the bonnet release.
Popped this and with the glove box removed (on the RHS remember) used a metal alloy tube, poked through the foam and into the space behind the glovebox. Used it to pull the 10mm flexi battery cable through into the scuttle area.
Cable now running inside under the trim by the door sill then up behind the panel on the RHS rear. Then its the fuse and a length to the power sensing relay then battery and smaller fusebox for switches/lights.
Varta B33 12v 45Ah battery will sit on the RHS rear wheel arch and is thin enough to allow the trim back on. LHS wheel arch is different as it contains the filler neck.... but the battery has Type 3 terminals and teh fittings are for Type 1 so they are too big. Conversion sleeves on the way.
Now I need more 10mm cable due to the extra needed to go round the scuttle.
I'll pick the power up at the starter battery end on the master fusebox. There is a spare live 10mm bolt so I saved disturbing the airbox/battery and the fight through a grommet that lands in the cabin by the pedals, steering wheel and interior fuse box.
Probably worth a pdf "How To" when I'm finished but for now the game continues. Plenty of photos taken.
