Hi bit of a late reply to this thread I can get hold of a set of mk4 cheap do they still sit high in the caddys?

Very nice!!

Any ideas if the seats from a passat V5 will fit onto the caddy frames? Iv'e got a set the same as these:

Bloody hell, I wish I had seen this post when I wanted to get a set of the blue recaros. Still might thinking about it.

I know this is an ultra late reply dragging up a zombie post , but I was doing the swap today and just wanted people to be aware that I have the 3 door golf mk3 seats with the folding forward release catch on the side, well the side brackets on these are different and don't fit onto the caddy seat bases, so I had to plasma cut the spot welds off the old brackets off the caddy seats and the golf ones and weld on the caddy brackets onto the golf seat backs to fit them,
Just a heads up if anyone thinks of doing the same .
