Yep cool. Yeah that’s why I was wondering if golf might be better as guessing if rear side door open on scirocco, it doesn’t show any doors being 3 door car?
Is it 2010-16 or 2016+ you ordered? Might buy from your link as hope better support direct from manufacturer (was dmdstore wasn’t it)?
Cheers

The scirocco still showed back door open when sliding door was opened, boot open for rear doors etc so never any issues with that.
Shop was called ultra spec store but to be honest we messaged mainly on WhatsApp, so was handy to have a phone number to message for regular updates

Don’t recall seeing any option for years, was just mk6 when I ordered but I’d go for whatever the newest year they offer it for, more chance of better software and options like adaptive cruise control etc.

Yeah my concern with that though is if the firmware was for mqb rather than pq so then wouldn’t work but then scirocco would be pq whatever the year thinking about it

Hi,
I've found this which seems to have an option for caddy as well:
https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/10050067 ... ry_from%3A
Based on some reviews it seems that it even has a caddy model displayed so I'm curious is there anybody here who tried those newer versions? I guess there are multiple different sellers and brands(?) of this but in any case If there is any new intel on this topic or other threads I would be curious to learn more.
Thanks

TMG specialist vans now do their own version, straight fit, no cutting/chopping and designed for the caddy, it's around £650 It's the next thing on my list, I'll make sure to put my experience of it on here

Bump - anyone running the latest caddy version then?
I’ve tried all the others so figured I’d give it a go.

That’s good to know!
What spec is your van if you don’t mind me asking?
I’m curious to know if they fixed my old issues like ad-blue, Bluetooth / phone connection, random resetting etc
Also curious to know if it works with my radar for distance warning and a few other things.
Thanks!

Bit the bullet and bought one anyway, said around 5 days for delivery so will see. Hoping this one is more reliable than the last ones

Hi mate,
The add blue works, not 100% sure yet if I get a reminder, but definitely has an add blue range.
It does have Bluetooth but iv never actually connected it as I use my head unit for music and android auto.
It has screen mirroring which works through WiFi but as I have a Google pixel which won't allow anything to be mirrored that's not Google... It doesn't work.
But was showed at TMG that it works perfectly with an Iphone, and my Mrs Samsung connected straight away.
It's been in since the end of January, no issues at all with it resetting or turning off.
The distance radar does bring up a symbol, similar to the one on the standard cluster but it does flash which is a tiny bit annoying, the crash warning will do its usual beep but not show anything.
You can personalize the colour of the van on screen and ambient colours, there's other VW models to scroll through, can change from a MK3 to MK4
It has a weird little race mode which can time your 0-60s (it's a bit of a gimmick tbh)
There's definitely a few things which tell you it's not OEM.... But overall I'm really happy with it
Btw have you got an Instagram? I had a few questions regarding your modified xenon's..
I'll ping you over a pm on here but I see your not on here very often. Cheers

Hi all,
I've just fitted an Aliexpress virtual dash to my 2019 caddy and works great. Not driven the caddy since I installed it so not really had a chance to play about with it yet.
Installation was straightforward after watching the vids. Delivery was only about 5 days from China.
Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it.

Hi,
Yeah, I couldn't find any info on your "oem+ led headlights" !
If you have a link to the info that I have missed, that would be great ?
Cheers, keep up the good work.
