Hanging in the frame that turbo and down pipe is snug in the back need to alter the coolant hose routing to allow for clearance and heat

Intercooler mounted and pipe work slowly going in, turbo oil feed and return all done. 3 inch Down pipe and screamer pipe all in. Wiring all done.

Borrowed this homemade pipe swage thing and it does a really good job. I’m going to make some intercooler pipes up using sections and joiners to get the shape then for reliability sake il get some welded aluminium ones using these as a template

@S.peck01 thanks for taking a look at the thread.
It’s been a labour of love that’s for sure. To be fair I need a break from it now, but I’m getting very close to being finished so just got to keep going another days work messing about and tidying up and il be ready for remap. Then hopefully il get a bit more enthusiasm again

I’m dsg converting mine this weekend, my caddy life got written off so the new ones getting full loom swap dsg and tailgate swap

Trouble is we all have busy lives and staying committed to a project Is hard. Not just lack of time but financially too. Everything has got so f’ing expensive.
DSG conversion. Nice choice, love a DSG me.
It’s not a bad job swapping over either. I will probably end up putting a DQ500 in mine as I suspect the torque will probably kill mine in a short period of time but we will see
I’m on the look out for a white tailgate too if anyone has one
