Fitted an Rns510, genuine Vw Bluetooth, microphone, new radio aerial (as I have Touran mirrors) gps antenna. Just need Claudiu to do a bit of coding for me Image then fit the rear camera rca adaptor when it arrives on the slow boat from China. My previous aftermarket head unit was a great stop gap but there’s nothing quite like that oem feel and integration.

Re-painted my Brembo calipers ready to go on the van tomorrow.

Despite having just been painted by the people who I bought them off I wasn’t happy with the finish. Not glossy enough for me Image

Ceramic coated for future ease of cleaning and protection, ready to fit! Just need to add the Brembo decals when they arrive.

Got my splitter smashed by my mot tester Image

Then I fitted my brakes. Had to put my new wheels on a bit earlier in the year than I’d wanted to as my old wheels would fit over the giant Brembo calipers without a hefty spacer. I was going to keep my old wheels and use them as winter wheels with some dedicated winter tyres but I’ll probably sell them now and buy some different ones that fit over the brakes.

Safety first can’t be to careful! On excuses for the van I’ve told my other half it’s being lowered as it will stop the dog feeling so travel sick in the back

How much was the rca adapter for the camera? £117 on ebay?

I ordered one for £32 from China which just arrived today. I'm getting some audio upgrades fitted on Monday so will hopefully get them to fit this adaptor at the same time. Will let you know if it works mate.

you’ve had no luck with that splitter recently, first it was a snowplough and now this.

On a different note the brakes and wheels look nice

Brakes need bedding in mate so can't really say yet, I've literally only done about 4 miles  I'm sure they'll be good once they've settled in though.

Fitting went perfect, everything fitted beautifully and went together well. Needed a 3mm spacer even with them new wheels which I was surprised about but it seems fine.

It's always nice fitting shiny new parts :) Thanks for all your advice.

Post up a link please mate. Them brakes look monstrous. Need a new turbo and a map to suit now!
