Hi mate day to day no, but my youngest has mentioned it a couple of times on long journey’s (200 mile +). My eldest however suffers from bad travel sickness and we have actually found it better as it forces her to look forward, which is why the van is clocking up miles so quick .

Hi Lister79.
I see you have put on additional door seals on your doors. Do you notice any difference with this ?
I have just bought a mk4 Caddy a couple of months ago, and was contemplating removing these from my old caddy and putting them on the new, but is it worth it ?

Hi mate, yeah definitely. On my other Caddy the inner threshold was always getting dirty from road spray until I fit the seals. So I fit them to this straight away and they never get dirty so worth it in my eyes. Not sure you’d be able to remove them with ripping or damaging them though.

Yeah, that might not be so easy. Maybe I`ll just buy some new ones. To be honest what bugs me the most is the sound when I close the door. The old caddy sounds like a normal car but the new one sounds like a really cheap one. I know it`s a weird thing to be bothered about, but sometimes it`s the small things

I know exactly what you mean. I’ve fully sound deadened mine with silent coat (including internal surface of the door skin), which is also worth doing and it makes them sound really solid.

That is on the list, Silent Coat plus a set of decent speakers. I just have to sell the old caddy so I can fund some mods on the new one

They are Audi A5, the S5 and coupe ones are a straight fit but mine are cut down A5 avant ones, due to a breakers yard sending the wrong ones. Bit more work and I was annoyed at the time but pleased now as I can still have the mud flaps installed (I know not the most stylish of things but I need them).

Hi bud, really love your fitment 👌🏼

How much have you lowered it? And do you struggle with speed bumps etc?

Hi mate not sure on actual mm drop as I never measured beforehand. The rear is on the middle hole in the hanger and I have 10mm thick axle relocation plates fit. The fronts were just adjusted until it sat level.

Thought I would have a quick scan at your build thread. I haven't been able to put my phone down. What a van you have built there sir, top class workmanship.
