Re: A Good Caddy
Hi Lister, I got it off ebay and it was listed as for parts. When i got speaking to the seller said he had a replacement board and he'd install it and make the light working, anyway when I was looking for the part number he seems to have put in a Chinese board and housing, the only part number I can see on it is 3BD947105 which is the normal part number, I cant see a part number for the black finish, sorry. I will contact him and see if its on the origional board/ housing.

Re: A Good Caddy
Hi Lister, I got speaking with the person I bought the W8 light off. He said that VW made a few batches of these in black but not with white logos, he made these himself but hasn't made any since 2016. I asked him to let me know if he ever decides to make any more.

Re: A Good Caddy
Hi Imprintx, hopefully they are more comfortable then old ones as my other half said they were not comfortable on her back. Its funny because as soon as she said it I started to develop back pain also and they had to go

@FishermansFriend @Lister79
I've seen mk4dubscustoms on Instagram/Facebook and ebay making and selling these black W8 lights.

Re: A Good Caddy
I was so close to getting the van back to square one with the new bumper and this morning my neighbor was reversing out and damaged my wing and driver door
. She didn't mean it and she busted out in tears, I think she is more devastated than I am, she knows how much it means to me. New wing and door required and the whole side of the van will need to be re-sprayed.

Ah bugger, that is a heart breaker.
At least you know who's done it and it'll be sorted properly.

Devastating, but accidents happen unfortunately. Hopefully you’ll get it sorted soon enough.
