I think a possible plan is to find a Golf R VCDS scan, recode the VIN in my clocks to the same as that then use the code from the MK60EC1 on that car.
Only thing is Golf R is of course 4WD, really I think I should maybe try from Golf ED35 this must have MK60EC1

Aha.
So the ECU VIN doesn't matter.
Might as well have ECU and Instruments coded correctly and immobiliser on in that case.
Hit me up if you need it coded.

You got the kit to do the VIN and immobiliser back on? Do you need van or just modules

I think I can do both cluster and ECU for you.
What ECU is it?
I have a EDC16 bench rig only at the moment but that could change.
If you are local, I'd call and have a spin.

ECU is not important
can be with Immo OFF
Focus on proper VIN in a cluster, and proper ABS coding

This still feels so wrong. I have to keep telling myself it's right every time!

Has anyone ever looked at you funny or asked if you knew you were putting petrol in your van? I would if I saw someone doing it I think..

No one has said anything as yet, but I'm sure people have looked and thought it!

Wow, that's quite a tasty van you've got there.
You got your ABS problem sorted too?

Cheers Doc, Not yet, wanted to actually drive it and get some miles on it. Still running with the Standard ABS module and TDI clocks. Was going to see if Dan has any luck with getting Golf R/Scirroco R clocks working, then look into it again later. Traction control still works with the TFSI, sounds lovely when it cuts the power, make some very nice noises.

AW sweet, I'd love a go some time.
I believe Dan's is running, I've to code in a cluster for him whenever his exhaust is finished.

Yes, would be good to know how that goes as it may help if you get it too work. I might try and go up to some shows this year so maybe meet up sometime.

Like that a lot. The front end goes well with the black, what splitter is on it?
