Finally got around to doing an info video for my Fiamma Low Loader bike carrier conversion.

Yay !

Got a new HDPE board to mount my cooker burner on.
Chose a nice Grey Granite board to sort of match the rest of the fittings.

When it arrived I was a little disappointed as it was a bit scratched and had obvious shiny production tool marks

Luckily - A quick rub down with a grey Scotchbrite pad and it looks much better

Just got to drill a few holes now ...

Fitted the new Granite Grey board ...

Decided to fully disassemble and mount the burner unit using blind holes instead of through bolts.

Chopped a tiny bit of the end of 4 SS screws so that they don't go straight through the board Top side (work side) with the four locating points showing (not through holes)
Cooker neatly stowed in the sink Flipped to cook position

There's enough gas hose to do side by side mode too

Changed my windscreen wipers to a Touran 2006 Double Sweep system

So much better

Just the Touran 1T Pre-facelift 2003 - 2006 approximately.


Other people have done it before and Doc told me about it way back when I first got my Caddy.
Most if not all had early Caddies with the LHD/LHS brackets installed from the factory. This makes it a nice drop-in upgrade effectively.

Got rid of the stupid baby seat warnings from my LHS sun visor

Have to be pre a certain date Caddy RHD, or any age LHD(Driver)

You have to see the actual item as the part numbers quoted are all over the shop !

If you Google any of these numbers and suffix letters given by different sites - you will get a multiplicity of Left/Right/Mirror/no-Mirror/Warning/No-Warning ...
