Hi there, I assume it's my previous mk3 caddy.
OK so I purchased my tailights from travelin lite. They came with the correct re- pinning instructions which are very detailed.
You also get a re pinning tool as well.
You will need someone with vag can pro for this model to code out the now obsolete reverse light and code in the others.
I used claudiu of vcds diagnostics for this who is over in hemel Hempstead. Nice guy too.
Plus doc on here as made an 'how to' on re pinning these if you buy them from another outlet without the re pinning information.

Cheers Mate. I did see the same lights on travlinlite and also a full LED set which were about £280, but not sure what they will look like in the flesh.

They used to be 1/3 of that from VW with trade discount. I'm glad I bought mine when I did.

Another modification ticked off.
Orded the front pdc kit from vagtec.
Nice bit of kit with correct oem connectors, module, pdc sensors and parking aid button.
Quite a straightforward job.
Didn't bother with how to photos as @petrev as done a very good and in depth 'how to' on this.
Want to say thanks to @petrev for sending me a nicely detailed dims drawing of the pdc sensor layout, as the black textured bumper does not have the factory pdc markers, plus I'm using my textured bumper and will be getting this colour coded along with the rear one in the coming weeks.
I'm an obdeleven user, so followed petrev's coding of the front sensors with no trouble at all.

Thanks mate. It is a the van for me. I've just come from an L2 transit connect. I used the extra space as an extension for my shed though .
Unfortunately was not the van for me, so the hunt was on for another caddy.

So having the lowering springs on for a few weeks now with plenty of time to settle, I've noticed a rattle that is coming from the front eibach springs.
It seems to occur when driving over small creases and cracks on the road.
When going over speed bumps, it's silent.
They way to describe this noise is a rattle, not a knock or clunking sound.
Setup is stock vw shocks, drop links and top mounts.
Very noticeable.
Was scouring the Web and noticed these.

First of all, as anyone had this issue?

Has anyone used anything like this?

Everything was tightened up to spec under vehicles weight, so I don't believe it's a loose bolt.

Is the noise definitely coming from the springs, not the drop links, ARB or subframe?

Should add, before I fitted the springs, the van was completely silent.
No untoward noises. This of course was on factory springs, and steel wheels.

I'm almost certain this is coming from the springs.
I jacked the van up at one of the corners the other day and with no weight on there is movement on the springs.
They looked seated correctly in the shocks.
I've had a loose drop link and the noise I experienced was more of a clunking sound than a rattle.
It's tricky to describe a sound and get the description of it across for others to understand.

As I mentioned in another thread I got the wrong battery box for my battery.
There is a control module that is bolted to the battery clamp.
So had a moment and to think that all I needed to do was unclip this module, order another hold down clamps and fix the module to the side of of the battery box with some trim pegs I had lying about.

Problem solved. Doesn't look to bad, and all cables are still routed the correct way.

The cover lid is still fully removable.

Amazing you found mats that fit a caddy, with vw written on them lol, I've been searching for literally months I'm going to order some too, you know if these will fit the mk4 yea? I see you even got an engineer bay cover... I was told these cars don't come with covers, is that a load of nonsense? Cars about to go through its cab test and I need it to be tip top!

Hi rolf, yep mk4 fitment for these mats.
Engine covers, sound deadening mat and undertrays are all extra options we need to buy for these vans mats. Non are fitted at factory as far as I know.
They are more for aesthetics as they do absolutely nothing for noise reduction.

So had a slight mishap with a tree over one of my fishing lakes, the tree won this time .
So after putting put the feelers and being declined by every pdr guy in my area, one guy rose to the challenge ahead.
Aaron of FX Dents in epping essex not only accepted the job but also smashed it out of the park.
Absolutely blown away by the end result.
Aaron is a true gentleman, master of his trade and also a fellow caddy owner.
If I can recommend only one chap, its this guy.
Stoked still at the results.

Next mod is a RVC. Found one from vagtec so will be buying this next
