Well I suppose it’s about time this build thread had an update. After a great visit to Tatton park on Sunday. @Doc very kindly coded the lights in on the bottom of the doors that I fitted a while back. He also enabled needle sweep too, which IMO looks great!
I’ve picked up some new side rails and covers, I’ll get these, along with my spoiler painted as soon as my painter can fit me in.
I’ve also just ordered a splitter from
TRC too. After a bit of reading around on here, they seem well regarded.
Hoping to get all these bits on ASAP.

After that, the plan is to have my bonnet and offside wing resprayed, replace the mirrors with mk4 small ones, and maybe fit side bars. (Can’t decide if I like them or not) Much later, 18” Romac venoms I think.

You have done some nice modifications there as you said it doesn't stop at the armrest there's always something else to do I suppose I should do a build thread too even though like you I've already started without many photos of before and after but you have done some nice subtle changes that make a big difference keep up the good work

Cheers mate. Yes you should definitely start a thread. I didn’t for over a year I think.
It was good to meet you and your wife last weekend too

Cheers mate
When you come to fit your splitter make sure you have got enough ground clearance for it as you go over the speed bumps that was where I broke mine due to the ride height being so low

The side rail covers will totally change the look of your caddy. 👌

@Handyandy yeah I really hope it’ll be ok. I’ll be going over speed bumps even slower than normal!

@Sean, I can’t wait to see the transformation. My parts are being painted a week tomorrow
