I see. Even after browsing the T4 forums a bit i failed to notice that to date!

Im assuming thats a visibility/safety thing?

Here in Aus we have same colour plates front and rear (and lord knows you can order some leary colours/styles now - check myplates.com.au if you want to see what i mean!).

Set of genuine VW mudflaps.

Part numbers for mk4 LWB are:

Front: 1T0 075 111
Rear: 2K5 075 101 A

Easier to fit before van is lowered I reckon.

Mine are slowly getting chewed up by speed bumps so be prepared from some scrapes when you've lowered it! Saying that they are still on solid they just look a little worse for wear

Remove the overhead grab handle - the mounting hole pitch on it is exactly the same, so one out, one in.

Thanks, where did you get the aerial from Mark1a and did you fit that yourself.

Hi, I got it from my local car audio place (Car Radios in Dorchester), I think it was supplied to them originally by Celsus ICE. It does FM/AM/DAB/GPS and was about £100 including fitting.

I thought about fitting myself but Car Radios have such a great reputation for quality & service, plus they've done stuff for me in previous vehicles, always a great job, and I couldn't bring myself to drill a hole in the roof of my van. The different in price between fitted & supply only was about £30, so I let them get on with it, neat job inside & out and has never leaked.

Cool. Just thinking about how long I’ve been going there... the cars will give it away!

Kenwood HU in Escort RS2000 mk2 - 80s
Cobra immobiliser in Carlton GSi3000 24v - 90s
Origin b2 speedcam detector hardwired in E46 M3 - 00s
BlackVue dashcam hardwired stealth install in E92 M3 (also fixed TrackStar wiring by BMW) - 10s

Plus various other minor stuff - also Chris there has a blue Caddy 2k, he sorted the custom quad lock conversion and reverse cam adapter for the Android HU in my Caddy.

Nice people and reasonably priced. I’ll be going there for speakers & sub when the time comes.

Cool, make sure you start up a build thread so everyone can witness the slippery penniless slopes that are van mods and bikes.
