honestly not too bad at all running the cables took the longest time having them neat and then choosing exactly where the light goes takes a little time but could probably do start to finish in under 2 hours maybe 1.5 hours

Oh I’d always make my own loom for stuff like that.

Probably cost me more and take 10 times longer but that’s the fun of modifying

Not sure how you wired them in, but I’d be tempted to wire each side separate to each interior bulb on the map light so pressing the right button on the interior map light would switch the floor light on also.

wired to bcm loom directly they operate on door opening and when central locking is triggered

Sounds easier I suppose.... should be the exact same if I wire them my way but they’ll also work from a switch since the roof lights are triggered from door opening and central locking.

I might have to buy new floor mats before I start shining a light on them every time I get in and out

It’s a great tool to have, was using mine today to do some data logs.

One of the first changes I made was to code out the bulb warning errors.

Hah! I’ll let you know when I install my reverse camera then! I purchased it on the 10th so should be here any day now.

Once I’ve got it all installed I’ll do a full review and even a video showing the features for you
