Fitted (sorta!) my S3 air vents. Lots of double sided sticky tape helped. I’m gonna do some more fettling yet, but they look decent

I've only done the basics....but the vents (when I've finally got them sitting as I want them!) are a big visual improvement... It really makes it nice in the front!
I love my Audi A1 seats too!

Look a lot better than the stock Caddy ones those mate.

Another eBay bargain!
I bought a cheap golf ‘golfball’ Style gear knob, but it was too ‘chromey’... it was a bit cheap. Then I found an original mk7 golf R gear knob for £30 delivered
I’ve changed the surround to the caddy one, but I need to swap the boot for a nice leather one I robbed out of a scrap seat car at work, as the one with it is too short in 2nd and 4th!

Fitted the boot from a Seat... it’s real leather, and is longer.
I’ve cut the stick down by about 1 1/2” and fitted the boot by cutting slots in it, and pulling it over them. Works well, and doesn’t pull tight when in 1st,3rd or 5th now

So, the genuine golf R gear knob I picked up was bothering me.... it was a six speed, and the outside was blue. Not the end of the world, but annoying! I had already bought a snide golf ball knob (fnar) which was too shiny for my liking, but it had a red disc and five speed. So, I dug the blue coin out, cut a big hole in my finger, and put the red one in. Sounds straight forward, was a bitch as I wanted to keep the Matt chrome of the blue one.

I’m trying to make my old van look a bit prettier for when I turn up at Hef’s gaff.... there’s going to be so many nice little vans there, I don’t want mine to look too shit in the photos!



I’ve kicked another red motor out of the bay....
