Cheers Chris I’m really looking forward to fitting the new wingmirrors. Could well be next weekends job if I get the time.

Cheers lads. I’m made up with them. I’ll take the van in to the garage next week and get them aligned. I went outside later on last night and switched them on, the beam pattern is out.

They do take a bit of fettling to get right, but are way better than stock when sorted…..no more guessing where the corner is when turning right!😂

Good to know mate. I’m well made up with them. I’ve just gave it a wash, and it started raining before I’d even put my gear away

It’s going in to get the bonnet painted today. Time is rarely on my side

Well there’s been a development in getting my bonnet and wing mirror caps painted. The place I normally use, their painter committed suicide a few weeks ago and they now have no painter. The owner is a panel beater by trade so he’s in a right mess.
Quite shocking to hear that, even though I didn’t know the guy!

Bit of an update on my wing mirror caps. I’m taking them to a paint shop on Tuesday near my work called Auto Renew. He’s going to charge me £60 to paint them, which I think is reasonable.
My bonnet can wait until the original paint shop is back up and running. It’s a re paint as there is some white spots in the paintwork from the first time it was done there.

That's sad news on your paint sprayer but hopefully you get it all sorted soon as you've waited ages for that to be done on another note them headlights look the part 👌

Glad it’s getting there bud!

Don’t they transform the front end? :D The mirrors also make a huge difference to how the van looks 👍

This prompted me to get a qoute another highly recommended local bodyshop, I've been quoted £40 less (for mirrors, handles Inc barn handle, and side rail cover ) than the guy that did my bumpers wanted for just the mirrors  need to get my mirrors ordered and the van booked in I think 8)

@Stedlocks, yeah they make a massive difference, even with all the lights off. Can’t wait to see it with the new aero mirrors on!

@RY_VW, always worth shopping around mate. Yes you need to get some mirrors on, your van will look so much better with those bits colour coded
