Cheers Damo2k. Can’t wait to get it all fitted.

Pete you will have to upgrade your swcm as you probably have the same one as I had. You will need a highline or a midline module I can’t remember what the part numbers are.
In fact I might have one laying around somewhere I will have a look

Yes I suspected so mate. Just haven’t got round to checking which one I actually have. From reading on here, I think I need 5K0-953-569B or E.
What have you got mate? I’ll gladly buy it off you if it’s what I need.

Sean, can you verify those part numbers please? I can’t see a 649 module on Ross tech, only 549 and 569.

I have a 549 in the van with no letters after it, so I do need a new module.
Thanks mate.

Thanks mate. In pic 2, I can’t see if it’s 549 or 649. If it’s 549 I think (I’ll check with Doc to confirm) it’ll be what I need

5K0-953-549B is correct for the steering wheel.
5K0-953-649B isn't a valid part number.

Thanks Doc. That’s another bit of the puzzle in place.

@ Sean, I’ll have the one in pic 2 please mate. Let me know how much you want for it

A little mod that I completed this week….new gear gaiter and knob. The old one was looking a bit worn out. Image

A few stickers for my disklok too Image

Cheers mate. Both from eBay. £20 for the lot. The gaiter frame was a pain to fit back in though as the leather is quite thick.

I picked up my wheel from the trimmers today. He’s done a brilliant job. I would recommend him to other forum members for sure.
Steering kingz in Southport. He works from his house, and was cheaper than other places too. He’s on Facebook apparently.
My stereo interface module arrived today so I now have everything I need to get it fitted. Properly excited now! Image
