Bit of an update...

Should be ready to pick up this weekend.

In the meantime i got bored without the caddy and have just purchased this to use as a daily and keep the van looking tip top.

Yeah well after saying I'm going to keep it as it is cos it's just a daily I've already got a ton of ideas and plans in my head for it.

It doesn't help that my mate has just offered me a 2l abf engine that he has sat around in his garage. Trying hard to resist. If I'd known I was going to get this before putting my van in the bodyshop I wouldn't have bothered and I've had the van as a daily.

Just need to find someone to drive it to shows while I drive the van.

Decided there'll be no full pictures until she's done her first show, but here's a sneak preview... I've also just picked up some scirocco seats for virtually nothing so they'll be going in until I can afford something a bit better.

Only think left to do will be siderail covers, unfortunately I think that'll be a winter addition as I'm completely skint.

So after a long wait - she's finally out of the bodyshop. So pleased with the results.

Thanks guys. Hopefully I'll be dropping her a bit more tomorrow and fitting my scirocco seats too. Pics to follow if it does happen.

I really like that bumper but as a finishing touch, a mesh upper grille would suit it lovely in my opinion.

;-) Bodyshop is already working on it with a mk5 grill but I'm trying to decide whether I actually want one with the badge on or whether I want badgeless.

What I really need, is the side rail covers. I just don't have any spare money at the moment. Then it's on to the interior and a rear bumper. Thinking mk6 GTI or mk4 r32 style.
