Compressors, driers and relay all wired in along with installing the air receiver and the air lines to/from it.
Air receiver has had a few coats of stone chip for a little added protection against the coming winter and the tubing and wires have a bit of protection with the flexible conduit.
Controller wiring to complete tomorrow and then time to test prior to fitting the air bags and stuff.

Well… after 4(ish) days of hair pulling and head scratching…
It’s 98% completed!

The ride is super nice, firm but not harsh like my old coil overs

How the underneath looks at the moment, quite tidy, discrete, little bit of tidying up to do, that’s next weekends task.

Flexible hose from the bag to the body fixed to a custom made and welded on bracket with 1/4bsp to 6mm bulkhead fitting

Rear bag, shortened and updated Bilstein shock absorbers (axle has since been cleaned and stone chipped.

And van at full height to get over the pavement and down into my drive. Kinda scary the first time as I’d sold the idea of air suspension on the premise that I’d still be able to get in and out of our steep drive without scraping

And finally… managed to buy some R32 pedals for my feet

oh, and excuse the mess, took the picture before cleaning everything up
Time to sell the 6 month old Bilstein B4’s, drop links, lowering springs and rear shocks to replenish a little bit of the secret Caddy fund!

Looking good Colin, nice to see another properly done air install without the air lines cable tied on.
With your front leader hose, and depending on your bulkhead bracket position, you should be able to route it round the front of the strut, attaching it to the existing sensor bracket with a P-clip. That way you won’t need to loop the hose.
Also when aired out just make sure the rear antiroll bar mount (part welded to axle) isn’t catching your fuel filler neck. It’s easily relocated further down (using some plate) if it’s close.

Cheers guys!
Chris, thanks! I was wondering how to sort out the front hoses

and I never thought about the rear bracket, I’ll check it out before going lower! I can reposition the welded on brackets if required.
I haven’t notched the front rails for now however…

Love how this just started out as "I'll just do the back for the mountain bikes"
I like the idea of those clamps in the back, but mine and the wife's bikes won't fit with wheels on (hers does, mine doesn't).
The VR6 is awesome though!

JWcaddy me too, mrs C a little less so!
I love the VR noise, looking to modify the exhaust to include the original exhaust valve for a little extra VR vroom…
benny_bassline cheers bud!
Vanmandan if you mean steering wheel, then yes, looking to get hold of an R32 MFSW to keep the look
