I didn’t know you had 2 vans mate! Looking forward to seeing the other one at some point. Have you got a build thread for it on here?
I’ve never seen a twin caliper set up like that before. It looks really smart

Hi Pete, I’ll be swapping the engine over into the brown one, so the white van is unlikely to see the road again. Bar the engine it’s totally stock now anyway, as I swapped over all the nice parts when I first started on the brown van in 18/19.
Yeah I’ve had to use an early style rear axle to get the Porsche calliper up at the rear, as it wasn’t possible to design a mounting bracket with enough strength using a later style one (at least without the mounting being huge that is). Cheers I’m pleased with it.

Nothing much happening at the minute with the van, just continuing to collect parts for the winter changes.
Managed to get some half decent photos from today’s venture out though.

Love the Lake District in this time of the year. Is this down the Hardknott pass? Stunning photos.

Yeah it gets extra special this time of year. First photo is Ashness bridge, second in Newlands Valley and third on Honister pass.

Well just went through all 56 pages of your build and must say well done mate.
Cracking looking van and clearly a lot of effort has been put into this and you have been rewarded.

Sunday drives in your van through the Lake District, sounds like a great way to spend the weekend.

Bad weather today so decided to continue sorting out the wiring for when I do the EA888 engine conversion .
Ive no room in the garage at the minute so living room it was (which my knackered knees were pleased about), it’s a good job I’ve got an easy going wife

.
Got hands like the Sticky Bandits stripping all the tape off.

Respect mate, to me it’s like rewiring a telephone exchange blindfold

That's the horrible part getting all the tape off.
It's even more difficult on a newer loom where the adhesive hasn't dried out and is still tacky.
A box of wonder wipes is your friend with that adhesive.
