Successful long weekend camping in the caddy up in the Lake District

All those hours sound proofing, insulating and carpeting the rear was definitely worth it!

Thought why not get a matching duvet set to go with the seats haha! Cheap ebay find and they do custom logo designs
Cheers was thankful we were in the van as the tent we had on the side was blown about all over the place!

Finally got the rear windows tinted.. went for 5% and I am pleasantly surprised as to how much you can still see out the back. Thanks to @Ddraeg for recommending North Wales Tuning & Tinting

Made some progress with the sliding door changes.
I need to replace the exterior sliding door handle after pulling it off

♂️
I was hoping I could just replace the handle from the outside, however it looks like it won’t be as straight forward as I might need to remove the central locking mechanism from the inside first so I can get access to the handle mechanism.
I also trial fitted the interior trim panel I got from a used caddy life, it should look better once I’ve painted/trimmed it.
I will probably use the carpeted ply panel I had for the top half of the door and cut it to suit the new lower trim.

Looking good man! I really need to get a move on with my interior.
Just saw a very nice white Caddy heading out of Altami towards A494/A55, was it you?!

I need to get a move on with my exterior haha! Thanks mate
I doubt it was as I’ve got the caddy stealies on at the minute so it’s looking pretty standard part from the tinted windows and black badge at the front

I get on the A494 near Queensferry.
Lowering kit arrived today though so that’ll be going on with the wheels soon

I'll keep a look out for you, I am always spotting caddy's on the drive to work and back haha!
Not got round to the colour coding yet as I've still got a list of parts as long as my arm waiting to go on the van

I work on the Deeside Industrial Estate so I'm sure we will pass each other at some point!
I know how you feel! I haven't had an interior or an interior light for about 2 months now lol!

I’m expecting the same, I’ll probably be driving round for awhile without any roof lining
