Fired from the circus.

Post by firedfromthecircus »

Thought I would post up some pics of my van. Only had it a couple of weeks so haven't done anything to it apart from a bit of spit and polish. Not planning too many mods, but just picked up a set of standard alloys today (cheers Richie  ) and want to change the interior about a bit, so will add to the thread as I get stuff done.
So in case some of you may have forgotten what a standard caddy looks like...............

Looking V. shiny! Notice you've got a bit of a crumpled cill on the off side. I've got one on the near side! Hoping that it can be knocked out with a slide hammer. You thinkin of gettin yours patched up?

Cheers guys.
The shine is not bad considering the weather and how long I've had it. Will be better by the summer :D

I have another one on the other side too Gav  There are a few wee bits that need a bit of attention so I will see what can be done in due course. Nothing too serious though. Was thinking that the sportline side bars/cill protectors would hide the wee knocks :?: Something to think about.

Got the floor carpeted today :D

Done with B+Q value carpet tiles as per someone elses suggestion (props bud ;) ) so cheap, and should be hard wearing enough for me. Next to do the sides and doors etc with different stuff and fit the LED's i got in this week.

Any suggestions for what colour carpet to go for?

Have you glued the tiles down mate? If so what did you use and how much are they to buy. Nearly ready to carpet mine!

Thanks, Jonesy

Thanks, Jonesy

Yup, just glued down with PVA glue. Seem fairly secure, but shouldn't be too much of a bugger to lift them if I need to change a tile :)
When I do the sides I will use the high temp carpet glue stuff, but for the floor tiles the PVA should be good enough.
It cost just under £20 for a box of value floor tiles that will do the whole floor, and you can get spare singles for £2.18 a pop. Your bound to have PVA lying about or just nick some form the art department
