Springs or coilovers

Hey guys had my caddy long enough now and feel the urge to drop it, but as its under warranty I am unsure whether to bang a cheap set of springs on (whip em off if something silly happens and VW kick off) or go for coilovers, it is my daily work vehicle so I need a little comfort so what's recommended people?

I know this topic has been covered but I have yet to come across a 2011 caddy decked unless someone knows of one and has some pics lol ;-)

My 2011 is lowered around 110mm now and its my daily, comfortable and a hell of a lot better handling, definitely corners better than my golf did. I use it for mountain biking too and get through the fields fine. (Ruts are an issue though!)

Wicked ill have a look, fairly new to the caddy forum so navigating is slow I will upload some pics of mine soon it's basically an edition 30 look a like which wasn't intentional lol.

What coilovers are you using?

V-maxx for now until funds allow but honestly no complaints about them. And axle plates from R.A.D but you could easily knock your own up if you have access to the tooling

The price of the spring kits is mental. Lowering a caddy isn't easy, my mates currently mullering over how to lower it since he put alloys in its sat like a 4x4..

Vmaxx can't be beat IMO for the price, the eichbac kit is almost the same money and its just front springs iirc.

Unfortunately when it comes to a caddy, the rear outdated leaf spring setup makes nothing quick an easy.

I actually found the rear easier, just (lots of) straight bolts but no friction/pinch bolts or springs to compress. But I suppose that probably depends on how wedged in your front shocks are! I wouldn't be too put off, its free to do it yourself and I knew nothing about the job ahead when I jacked it up to start, soon figured it out.
