Yellow Caddy

Post by elrics »

Hey people thought I'd share with you some pics of my caddy I took on Sunday morning after a quick wash.
Just bought some 16" VW alloys today of a Touran and slapped them on will post some pics of them in the next day or 2.

I didn't even want alloys a few days ago just this site made me almost feel obliged to start doing it up a little. Booking in for some dent removals for the end of the week.

Since its just the SDI and I would like a little more power so maybe even a cheeky remap for an extra few hp i think it gains around 10 but maybe worth it as I don't like to be late!

I'd go for a full wrap. You won't get your money back on value of van if you come to sell it after painting

I take it a full wrap is alot cheaper than a paint job then! Any idea of a rough cost to wrap it?

Rough costings:

Dogs bollox colour change (external only) £1500+
Dogs bollox colour change (inc engine bay and door shuts) £2000+
Dogs bollox colour change (inc engine bay, shuts and inside rear) £2500+

Backstreet bodyshop rough arsed job £1000

Do not skimp on quality if going wrapped trust me. Expect to pay £1500 min for a proper job inc door shuts etc

I'm only just setting up my business dude not got that sort of money to play with unfortunately... I guess will just leave her as she is for now or could go for the matt black rugged look, I think I would rather get her tuned up for a few hundred quid first!

Thank you for the info bud.

If I were you mate I would get a Touran bumper on, get the bumpers colour coded with a black grill and black inserts on the front bumper, get it lowered and some nice 18's/19's .. I think that would look awesome in Yellow .. Maybe even some business advertisements on the side and who could miss it looking like it would ! lol

Now that sound like a plan Josh! I have got some 16" vw alloys on now I got of ebay the start of the week. Once got the bumpers done and colour code them then I will think about some bigger alloys! Just putting the 16s on has tidied it up a good bit pics to follow later.
