I have done a lot more than I thought in a short time,but when goodies pop up I tend to grab 'em quick.
my first order was a lowering kit from Darkside which a mate and I fitted yesterday 20/7/13 with the luxury of a 2 post ramp (i used to work in the motor trade and kept good friends in it ! ) We got it all done and my mate said we wouldn't get it off the ramp and yep he was right.with the aid of some wooden blocks it came down with a bit of drama. well pleased with the drop on the rear,the front is a bit high for my liking so it looks like coilovers are on the menu.
last week was quite busy with fitting seatbases and seats,steering wheel,touran door mouldings and spraying lower plastics (still not dark enough) removed the rear wiper which has tidied the rear quite nicely and just other visual bits and bobs.
have a new style gear knob and gaitor on the way which will match in well,picked up some caddy electric door cards today which will be transformed soon (watch this space) electric mechs on their way and I think that will be the interior done for now.
