Re: caddy tent/awning
I have no idea yet how to upload a photo by I have a tail veil which I bought after seeing the caddy trampers online. It goes over the tail gate. It is fly mesh and has a fly over it. I like it better as it has a floor and completely seals to the car so no bugs or creepy crawlies can enter.
Its called a TailVeil and comes for the USA. It cost me about $100 Australian Dollars. no polls or drama messing about with it. No good though if you don't have a tail gate though!

Here’s my beast of an awning/tent. It’s an oxygen movelite 3 air rib, You can back the van right in with the barn doors wide open, 8ft high and massive amounts of space inside and erects in 10mins. Easy!!!!

Re: caddy tent/awning
Regarding the stitches and steel awning - I have actually sent mine back to them.
The quality is unquestionably very very good, but the fitment just isn't great for a caddy.
Shame, as I could have got a lot of use out of it, but it just flaps about to much imo.
Plus being a wetsuit material, it's like a sponge in the rain. Takes a good while to dry out.
