Hello everyone,
I bought my first caddy, its 07 plate,
also have golf mk5 with bilstein b8 shocks that are 1 year old and perform superb, they sit on h r Lowering springs( I think its 40 mm ones)
My question is, do you think this shocks and springs would work well with caddy mk3? Do I need different/shorter drop links as well? If so please put link in here if you know the part.
Many thanks in advance

Re: Bilstein b8 question
Hi so long as the strut diameter matches the caddy then they will fit, ie 50 or 55mm, don't forget that golf struts will be a bit shorter than caddy ones so it will drop a little more

Re: Bilstein b8 question
Thanks bud, done it today.
The change in steering is mad, so much more feel and control. No more wobbly tracking.
I also swapped standard 15 invh steels to 18s.
Yes they both are 55mm diameter so straight swap.
I'd highly recommend that set up for anybody looking for an upgrade.
Got pictures from before and after but gotta work out how to upload it here
