Not the best of photos I have of my van, but a few from before and after.
Exterior now is finished to how I wanted it to be.ImageImageImageImageImage

@DW2207 looking good, I've got same colour so nice to get some inspiration. What size wheels and tyres are you running here? How much is it lowered by? I need to get my side strips coded- looks so much better.

Hi Phil, thanks for the good feedback mate, appreciated
OK, wheels are 18 8j et45 replica pretoria's.
Tyres 225 45 zr18 95y pzeros.
Lowering, 60mm eibach springs. Factory front shocks. Darkside rear kit. Highest setting. Poly bushed rear leafs and chassis bushings. Awaiting for bilstein b8 rear dampers from Darkside to be dispatched.
I've recently purchased a retrofication rear saddle kit. So in due course will be removing the shackle kit and fitting this. Looks a lot more oem and less cluttered under the rear axel.

@DW2207 Thanks for the info. I'd like to upgrade my wheels to 18s but I'd like to keep a thicker sidewall- I know the 225/40/18s give the closest diameter to the standard wheels but just feel the sidewalls are to thin for the roads round here and ride comfort. Seeing yours has pretty much confirmed I prefer the thicker sidewalls!

I was thinking of 225/45/18s (I know issues of the speedo etc) or the 235/40/18s (closest to original while keeping some sidewall)

Have you noticed more drag/drop in MPG or anything else with the 225/45s?

I'm looking at dropping 45mm- not sure I want to go really low- another reason I don't want thinner sidewalls is so it doesn't look like it's on stilts! I was worried the 225/45s might rub though- any issues here?

Hi Phil, I used these tyres as they were previously fitted to my lwb transit connect van, so they were the correct load rating for the van, and as I only had them fitted for 3 months before selling I kept them for my newer wheels.
Ride is nice a smooth. A little firmer than stock setup, but as it's only on springs the comfort level is still there. Not to crashy.
Mpg wise, I do a lot of short journeys at the moment so not sure and never bother checking tbh.
As for ride height, I only notice a slight rub on the rear if I'm driving over really bad back tracks to one of my fishing lakes. Im talking crater size holes and dips. Nothing you will ever see on normal roads . On the road there is no rubbing. Even when driving over speed bumps etc.
Road noise is a bit more pronounced. This is due to not sound deadening my van yet and running a much wider wheel I suppose.
Nothing I would worry about.
Hope this helps answer your questions buddy .
