Rusty steel rear subframe replaced with the Audi Quattro cast alloy frame. Plus all bits degreased and cleaned ready to fit onto Caddy. Rear axle of Caddy and leafs etc removed ready to fabricate brackets to hold the new rear 4wd axle. It’s a start and missing driving my van alreadyImageImage

Its a world away from the old leaf spring suspension :lol: ,should handle a treat from now on too 8)

I wish lol : i just an imagine the comparision of bouncy leaf springs to independent suspension and added traction at the back end will be like
night and day and safer at speed too with all that power.

i could do with a v6 up front too 8) this 1.6tdi isnt going to cut it much longer lol
