Toffee delights
Hi, thanks very much.
The dead set kit is from Custom Vag Parts and the mud flaps I made myself.

Re: Toffee delights
Oil service, pollen filter, wiper blades and a new N/S/F ABS sensor done this evening. Also gave the undertray a wire brush down and repaint in POR-15. Worth its weight in gold that undertray, I’d hate to think how many sumps I’d have smashed without it.

What's involved in changing the ABS Wheel Speed Sensor ?

Re: Toffee delights
Wheel off (you could do it by just jacking the front end up but the fixing on mine felt like it was going to round off).
Remove the fixing (4mm Allen key).
Remove sensor (mine needed gently worked out with some grips).
Clean up the hole and install the new one.
Then just clear the fault memory (light will go out without doing this, but it isn’t good practice to leave error codes in).

I just lazily used Carista because it was easier than loading my laptop up.

Re: Toffee delights
The brand is Rival. Yeah it’s very sturdy but obviously very heavy.

Re: Toffee delights
Spoiling the wife with a weekend away at Newcastle. What are the chances of there being a car show the exact same weekend?
The front might have more chips than a Las Vegas casino from daily driving (and generally being a car bully), but I still love the look of the van sat on the track ready for Kulturshock show tomorrow.

Re: Toffee delights
I attended it in 2021 and wasn’t overly impressed (except for the location), but there were still covid restrictions in place.
It was a lot better this year, especially with the weather being so nice. Loads of different cars that I haven’t seen before which was nice.

Re: Toffee delights
Nothing else planned for the van until Tatton Park VW, when it will be on the forum stand. So back to daily dog van mode it is, I should have done it through the week but didn’t get chance.

MOT day, and another clean bill of health. The Powervalve 100 cell cat still passing the emissions without a problem.
