Well I didn’t get as much done as I thought I would today.
Got the gearbox out, the clutch and flywheel off, the air intake manifold and cam cover off timing chains out and all the tensioners off.

Looks like a very complex job there Sean. I wouldn’t know where to start on a job like that!

@peter
The one good thing is I’m not doing it on my own I have a lot of help from a good friend of mine.
@DW2207
I consider myself a very lucky as I don’t have to do it on my driveway as I have a very good friend that has space out side his work shop where we are doing the work. In fact if it was for him I wouldn’t be able to get it done. It’s the same place where I did the engine conversion

I’d want help too if I’m honest mate.
It’s good that you have someone to work with and bounce ideas off

That’s good progress on replacing the chains!
Better to be cautious and right than fast and wrong!
I see you’ve managed to get hold a cam lock too, brilliant stuff!

Re: My EX BG VR6 3.2 build
Waited until 3pm for the final parts to arrive (O rings that you thought would come with the value cover gasket)today but managed to get it all finished up today. And the caddy sounds awesome.(in my opinion anyway and I am a bit biased)
As we were waiting for the parts to arrive I thought I would do my rear anti roll bar bushes.
