Cheers Sean. It just makes it a bit better when we sleep in it. We’re off to the Isle of Skye in the morning for a week. The van will be our home!!

ImageBeen on Skye this week. Amazing scenery and weather. Either sunny or really misty and dramatic.

Thought I saw this van last week. A46. But if you were up in Scotland there is a very similar one about.

Swan’s caddy build

Post by the swan fiend »

Well it’s been ages since I’ve updated this, apart from driving and enjoying the van, I’ve done sod all since the MFSW upgrade.

Today I’ve done an oil service (I’ve decided to do a 6 monthly change now as the van has 145k on it)
I’ve also changed the rear brake pads as they were starting to get a bit low….. probably would have got another few thousand out of them but I didn’t want to be doing the job potentially in the depths of winter.

Next job will be a good clean before our little NW caddy meet tomorrow in St Helens. (All welcome to attend BTW, see the thread in the events section for details)

I’ve got some more mods planned going forward. Fitting my new mk4 indicators that I’ve had for a while, I’ve also still got my Touran carpets to go in too that have been here since Xmas ImageImage
I also need to do something with my carpeted wheel boxes too….the carpets not holding up so I’m thinking aluminium checker plate or similar.

Anyway, watch this space…….but don’t hold your breath ImageImage
