Your van looks better everytime I see it keep up the good work
Are you off on your hols in the back of the van or going somewhere (I was going to say more luxurious but what can be better than in the back of the van
) or hotel abroad

Cheers mate. It’s had a good few quid spent on it since December, with a bit more to go! We’re going to the Algarve mate, but we have a week around Skye planned for May we’re we will be sleeping in the van.

Cheers mate. I’m made up with how it looks these days. Yeah ask away when you’re ready. I’m no expert, but the little experience I’ve gained over the years I gladly share.

Re: Swan’s caddy build
I can see money well spent ohh nice at least there will be sunshine and warmer temperatures there
Skye sounds good I'm hoping to get away in mine quite a bit this year if work allows and I don't get to busy on the house

Re: Swan’s caddy build
Im doing my DIY now to hopefully give me more time in the summer. I have 3 motorbikes and they hardly turned a wheel last summer!! I’m determined to use them more this year, as well as camp in the van etc.

Re: Swan’s caddy build
Seen the re trimmed version and have been gently working back through your build thread to see what wheel this is. Looks lovely, another item added to the listthe swan fiend wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 5:52 am Cheers Sean. They provide a nice ambiance in the back. I’ll see how long they last….they’re a Chinese special!
In other news….I bought this!
I’m going to have it re trimmed with red stitching and new leather. After that I’ll need a new SWCM, cruise stalk and stereo interface and I should be good to go.
Remap coming soon too. Exciting times!

Re: Swan’s caddy build

I installed a handle on the barn door today. Not a bad little job to do, however I couldn’t mount the trim on the front as the ply/carpet combo was too thick to allow it to clip in. It also fouled the handle as it was further forward, so I’ve mounted the ply in front of the trim. It’s neat enough I think.
