Firstly I apologise for creating yet another thread on seats but I wanted to compile all options in one thread for when I go to pick up some new ones..
I wanted to get a list of all seats that would be compatible as a straight swap or a conversion with minimal modification to fit in the caddy.. I have a 58 plate.
I know that some Audi ones fit along with some of the golf tourans and scriocco's do but I was wondering if there were any others?
I see some people on Facebook groups selling some seats for absurd prices so was hoping to get my dirty grey bus looking feckers out with something more comfortable and better looking and this is where I turn to you, I did ask on FB but I just got inundated with people trying to sell me their crap..
It's probably easier to say that pretty much anything VAG will fit rather than compiling a list.
Most commonly used and straight forward to fit are Golf, Scirocco, Passat, Touran, Audi A3, A4, A5, Q3 including the S and RS versions.
If you find something you like just come on here to check if you're not sure.
Touran seat bases will generally make the swap easiest but they will make the seats sit a bit higher than if you use your caddy bases. Caddy bases usually need a couple of holes drilling in them to fit certain seats which is no big deal.
Hi mate. If you’re looking for seats that bolt right on to the caddy bases, you need to get some from an Audi A1, VW Polo, Seat Ibiza, or Skoda Fabia. Any year A1 seats will fit, Polo from about 2005 I think. Not sure on the others.
If you fit VW touran seat bases, you can fit seats from the larger VAG group cars, check members build threads for info and inspiration.
As for a full list, you’d need to take the age of donor car into consideration, eg the seats from a mk3 Golf may not fit, but mk6 do.

Excuse my ignorance but what's VAG?
Thanks for getting back to me though

No worries. VAG just stands for Volkswagen Audi group. So Vw, Audi, seat, Skoda, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bentley and Bugatti.......though I don’t think anyone’s ever fitted Veryron parts on a caddy!!
Hello all, first post on here so apologies if I've got this all wrong. Looking to get some new front seats. I have Touran bases however I can't seem to find a definitive list of what does/doesn't fit. I'm currently on hold from potentially buying 2012 MK3 Audi TT Seats. Any ideas if they'd fit the Touran Base?

Volkswagen Auto Group, it was known as VAG before Audi [Auto Union] joined them
