I already had airbag seats so it was a straightforward swap, just a plug change, ie cut and solder in the Audi plug into the Vw loom.
I don’t have heated and vans too new for an mot, as far as I understand it if it’s fitted it has to work. But how would someone know?

Thanks for the reply. My thoughts were how would they know obviously would prefer them to work but unsure if it is achievable.
The seats I was looking at are collection only and with current restriction I'm not willing to pick them up. I did discuss getting a courier but the guy wasn't interested just wanted cash on collection. The search will continue.

I have been thinking about Audi A3 seats. Would these seats fit caddy bases or would they require the touran base

I’ve just had my van MOT’d with Touran seats, heater and airbag not connected/wired in, no issue with the MOT.

Hi all, does anyone know if Touareg seats fit in a Caddy on either standard bases or Touran bases. Has any one fitted Touareg seats in a Caddy.

Hi Swan fiend, Ive managed to source Touran bases. The Audi A5 seats I was looking to fit the sale has fell through. Do Caddy seats fit on Touran bases.

I jumped the gun fitted Touran bases thinking I was getting the Audi A5 seats. Thought I would try the Caddy seats on the Touran bases but they don't fit, had to take them out and refit Caddy bases and seats looking at Audi A3 seats now out of a 13 plate is there a cut off to what year seats fit on the Touran bases....

Roughly anything based on Golf mk5 platform and up to present day will fit.

Seats again...do SEAT Cupra R seats fit on Touran bases....
