Well after all the posts about fitting mk4 golf seats in a caddy I thought I would
Give it a go, so picked up a set of recaros with blue centres for next to nothing
And stripped the caddy seat out, to be honest I was expecting it to be a nightmare but it really wasnt the seats are a straight swap with the oem seat bases and backs, the only problem I had was taking off the bolts on the side as they threaded with locktight.
All in all a very easy mod, only took a couple of hours and they look the bollocks, just need to sort the heated side of it now

Well done lad, I nearly did this but went for the easier mk5 route but it cost me a lot more I think! get the pics up as I am sure a lot more guys would like to have a go.

the heated seats is something I have been trying to hook up as well as lumber support.

Great job, there is always a stack of mk4 seats on eBay so will give guys the confidence to give it a go. Well done.

Yep, had to use the whole back section as the standard caddy backs don't have the bigger side support bars

Do these go back as far as they did before? Im pretty tall and already have my seat rammed as far back as it will go.

Do these have better lumbar support? I also have a back back and often stick a rolled up sweater behind me in the caddy to act as a kind of lumbar support.

They don't go back that far to be honest, but they do have very good lumbar support
don't be put off by the fitting its really not that hard, I work in Cambridge quite often give me a shout if you need some help

Is it purely the bulkhead stopping them recliening more? Is there a how to on this?

Wouldnt mind just sitting in them tbh if you wouldnt mind to see if they would improve my driving experience before shelling out on getting some myself.

So did you use touran seat consoles? Im a bit confused still as to what parts are needed?
