Hello everyone! As I mentioned in the New member introduction thread , I want to present my Caddy van, a car that I use it daily at work.
The powertrain is an 1.9 TDI BLS mated with a 5 speed manual gearbox ( which I want to get rid of because I drive everyday on the highway and my rev needle always stays above 3000 rpmImageImage.
On the exterior I didn't modified anything, I bought the car as it is in the pictures, but on the interior I made some modsImage:
- Android navigation unit;
- chrome heater control knobs;
- Golf 5 GTI pedals and footrest;
- Golf 7 GTI shift knob;
- Touran interior door handles;
- chrome windows switches;
- chrome mirror switch.
I mention that the car already had Golf 5 seats and armrest.
I still have plans for my caddy, like the six speed gearbox convertion, to insulate the interior because is very noisy at high speed, another steering wheel and instrument cluster and maybe other modifications also, I'll see along the wayImage.

The mods list continues with a leather MFSW taken from a Golf 5 Plus.
Because my cluster is a midline I had to change also the steering wheel module as well and ofcourse the wiper stalker, all taken from the same Golf...ImageImage

As you could see in the pictures above, I had a new headlight switch with Auto function but I didn't install the light sensor yet. Now is all sorted out and working properly. I also activated Follow me home/Leaving home and US parking lights.
I forgot to mention that I have also rings for the air vents installed.ImageImageImageImage

It looks nice. Did you get the auto light switch off eBay?

I like the flat bottom steering wheel ( too bad doesn't have controls) the seats and the sweet DSG. Do you have it presented on the forum?

Today I added another mod to my vanImage USB and AUX port.
Before I had my usb cable hanging in the open glove box but now is nice and tight.
I had to trim the blank cover, where the glove box light should be I suppose, and to mount the USB and AUX port and make the connections to my headunit. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Looking good!
You should make a separate topic and present your car along with the modifications you are planing to make!

Hi, I’m new on here and wondered if the Passat interior light was a straight swap with no modifications?

Thanks
