Are the centre consoles that you can buy off eBay for the caddy any good? And are they solid once installed or do they move around does anyone have any feedback on these

I bought one of the VW/Audi style ones that fits into the rear cup holders for about £50. It was ok, but not brilliant. I’d advise finding a touran centre console and fitting that. There’s a how to one here and it’s only 2 or so hours work

Ahh, didn’t realise you were down under. You can find them on EBay though. That’s where I found mine.

Cost a fortune I’ve already ordered the Thor body kit from Magnatune but I chose the gti front end and I’m also ordering parts from dark side

Fair dos mate. It’s a long way to post stuff!! I’ve heard people in Aus and NZ say that ordering stuff from Poland may be a bit cheaper. You may want to look into that.

No, that looks like the latest generation touran one to me. You’ll more than likely need the one from the model before. What year is your caddy?

Not necessarily an 07 Touran. May even be a caddy life one, they’re the same. The centre consoles in the touran from 2003 to 2014 are the same as the caddy from 2003 to 2015. This however is in Europe. I can’t say for sure about Australia. Maybe check on your version of autotrader, that’s how I’ve just found out this info regarding model years.

I can’t find anything that looks remotely the same as the picture you sent I bought on that apparently you have to drill in to the existing console but I’m not drilling the shit they sent no way it looks terrible
