Engine bay undertray

Post by fitzroy »

Hi all
New to the forum and need some advice.
I have a caddy mk4 and im looking to purchase the undertray .
My question is do any off the golf fit as i cant find any info on the mk4s they all seem to be off the earlier caddys.
I got a price off the dealer today and it was an eye watering £220 plus vat{nooo way}.part number 5c6825901b
I know this subject must have been covered a million times but i cant find anything on the mk4.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi welcome to the forum. This is definitely wrong part number you have there. You need 1K0825237AG, it fits quite few VAG cars.

All you need to fit the undertray is here https://www.caddy2k.com/forum/viewtopic ... 62#p108166

I had this fitted today on 2014, highline, garage done mot, service, cam belt, £720, on a 46k engine 😭 and had an injector go earlier this year, done 1200 quid on a van I brought with 41.5k on the clock! I've only done 4.5k in the year I've owned it. And my 64 audi a3 is now booked in for a cambelt change, got to love garage bills just before Christmas 😭

Hi, is that definitely the part number for a 2015 onwards undertray? I’m looking to buy one for my 2016 2.0tdi but can’t find the proper number to cross reference it. Thanks

Thank you, even though yours is petrol?
Not sure if it matters that mine is also DSG?

There is also 2K5825453 listed specifically for Caddy 4. But it's exactly the same shape only with two holes at the front left corner and I think some felt backing (might be useful for diesel for some noise damping). I didn't want the holes, helps to keep the engine bay clean :)
Don't think DSG makes any difference, there is no part listed specific to DSG.

Anyone got the part number for a 2010 1.9 tdi Caddy? Would like underplate as well to keep everything clean and noise.

Hi I done extensive research on this as I have the mk4 and just bought an undertray for it,
I doubt the golf ones will fit the mk4 caddy it's ever so slightly different, also the golf ones have an extra air vent (the rear end) where the caddys only has 1 big cut up top

Check attached pic for genuine mk4 part number i was lucky to pick it up for 80 and it looks new ImageImage

And that one (image above) definitely fits the Mk4 Caddy (from 2015 onwards)?
I'm confused :?
