You gotta heat em up slowly and for a long time. Make a box get 3 or 4 heat guns blowing in it for a while and melt the sealant
Or a blow lamp and work your way around removing it as you go. Itβs not easy either way

Yeah Iβve made my temporary oven the other day but I realised that itβs not butyl rubber itβs permaseal, Iβm going to make my own hook tool to cut around the suff.

If all else fails I will cut the lip with my dremel and cut the rest of the rubber out.

Haha I understand why Iβve started mine yesterday Iβm getting the hang of it though, heat gun and pry.
