Passat W8 Interior light copy?

Did you get any problems fitting the LED bulbs, my light fitting doesnt seem to like it. However, works perfectly with normal bulbs.

No problems.
Just put all 4 in, then turned the 2 that were reverse polarity around to get them working. Trial and error ...

Yep, LEDs only work one way.
Manufacturers could include a rectifier circuit, but nobody does, cost no doubt.

£28 delivered isnt bad.

Anyone know the LED bulbs required for the fitting?

Hi guys, has anyone had bother getting the w8 light to clip into the recess? The side with the metal tabs keeps popping out and not wanting to click securely into place. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi, that's probably because you haven't cut the slots in your parcel shelf for the light to sit correctly.

Ok perfect thanks, just new so cannot see the how to just yet. A slot needs cut for the plug to tuck away then I guess? Any recommendations where to get a decent version of the w8 light. I have bought 2 online from same retailer and both have been faulty. Thanks
