How shall I contact you Matias regarding the sgo file? Not sure if I’m allowed to post my email address on the forum?

Hi,
Put new ECU in today. Still nothing. Exact same faults as before. Not sure where to go from here...

Re: Help with engine cutting out randomly
Somehow managed to get it to start...
I cleared all the DTC’s as soon as it started and it died again 5 mins later. Weirdly however it started fine after I turned the key on and off.
I then did a re-scan of the engine and it returned these dtcs (picture below). Didn’t know if any of those could be to do with it or not.

Re: Help with engine cutting out randomly
You have checked the wiring harness where I suggested?

Re: Help with engine cutting out randomly
I followed the leads coming from both connectors as far as I could and couldn’t see any damage to them.
Just took the van for a drive as it seems alright and cut out once but started straight away again after that.
Scratching my head a bit now...

Re: Help with engine cutting out randomly
Under the airbox, behind the passenger side headlight, the wiring harness tends to rub through wires there. Usually seen as white limescale type deposit on the harness fabric tape.

Re: Help with engine cutting out randomly
Is this it? It’s the only loom I can see that goes near my air box.
Have checked the white deposit, and it’s only on the surface. Also have check all break offs from that loom anywhere that there is white stuff and it all seems fine.

Re: Help with engine cutting out randomly
Yep, there are two looms in there, both engine related.
My be worth trying to manipulate them when the engine is running.
Definitely worth cleaning up that ground terminal and the post it's terminated on.
